As Toni (Corinne Griffith) hopes to break through as an opera star at a singing audition in Budapest, she discovers to her horror that she has been accepted into a vulgar nightclub. She finds solace with the sweet dresser (Louise Dresser) who takes her to Hotel Eden in Monte Carlo. There, Toni’s true identity is revealed by the dresser. Written by Hans Kraly (who worked extensively with Ernst Lubitsch), filmed by John Arnold (who has made such films as Forbidden Paradise to his credit) and directed by Lewis Milestone makes this a film to enjoy delightfully.
